Overview

The SanjPulse5050 is a pulse generator designed for pulsing laser diodes and other low-impedance loads with pulses up to 50 V and 50 A.

The instrument functions as a high-speed, high-current switch for the output of a user-supplied DC power supply. It is installed between the DC power supply and the customer's load. The DC power supply controls the output voltage (pulse amplitude), while the SanjPulse5050 controls the signal timing.

The SanjPulse5050 is used together with the Microsanj Project Manager software (specifically its Transient Thermal Imaging feature) to configure pulse timing and illumination parameters, and with an oscilloscope or other measurement instrument to capture and verify the output waveform delivered to the device under test.
